Kaprun lies in the Salzburg region and is easy to reach both by car and by train. Here is how to plan your arrival without stress.
By car
Via the Tauern motorway (A10) you reach Kaprun from Salzburg in about an hour, from Munich in around two hours. The final kilometres from Zell am See are well signposted.
At the Ski Dome Apartments you park free of charge right at the building – which saves you the search for parking and keeps distances to the equipment short.
By train
The nearest station is Zell am See, connected to long-distance services. From there a bus or a short transfer brings you to Kaprun.
If you arrive without a car, you are well served by the ski bus on site – the stop is right outside the building.
Getting around on site
The ski bus connects Kaprun with the Kitzsteinhorn and the lifts. So the car usually stays put during the holiday – more relaxed and without a daily search for parking on the mountain.
